We were thrilled to be invited to participate in the annual Halloween Parade presented by the Hampton Library in Bridgehampton. On Saturday, October 26, kids and kids at heart, met at the Library to start their quest for treats up and down Main Street.
There were miles of smiles from kids of all ages as they marched through our doors filled with the excitement that only the anticipation of a handful of candy can bring. We marveled at their costumes, each so uniquely different and proudly worn.
It struck how easily the community came together to celebrate our children, our town, our businesses, and each other. We believe events like the Halloween Parade offers all of us an opportunity to meet, to connect and to offer a welcoming space to the entire community, especially young people. Of course, having candy helps!!
A special thank you to Hampton Library for presenting this beloved event and our Main Street neighbors for joining in the fun. We are already looking forward to next year's parade!
