A Visit with Marylyn Dintenfass

A visit last week to the New York studio of our friend Marylyn Dintenfass filled us with joy, inspiration and of course, color!  Marylyn's work with its shapes, lines, textures and symbols reveal her beginnings in abstract expressionism.  Through this visual language, she says that her work "relates to communication through the visceral channel."

"Parallel Park" 2010, a 30,000 square foot site-specific installation in Fort Myers, Florida is a stunning example of the transformative power of art in public spaces.  In April, Marylyn was a 2023 honoree of the New York Foundation of the Arts and was inducted into their Hall of Fame.
