1 Bay Street, Sag Harbor
Complimentary admission, light refreshments

Come join us to hear author Randye Lordon read from her newest book, "She's Dead, Who Cares?" in the Bay Street Theater Lobby on Saturday, April 8 at 2pm.

Author of the award-winning Sydney Sloane Mystery Series, Randye Lordon will introduce us to Mary Moody, a celebrity concierge who can handle everything from hiring Cirque du Soleil to perform at a wedding to the more mundane juggling of privileged brats, wealthy wannabes, getting the Bentley detailed and, unexpectedly solving a murder or two.

Mary Moody never expected to add sleuth to her job description, however when a client—a nasty but well-known art dealer—goes missing, Mary is hired by the one person who notices and cares that the woman is gone. And she’s gone, all right, never to return. Lordon has a grand time satirizing the over-the-top Hamptons one-percenters, creating a suspenseful mystery, and adding a loving tribute to dog lovers who know that man's best friend is not just an idle phrase. Mystery, murder, and a good cocktail will keep you laughing on the edge of your seat. Friendship compels Mary to agree to dig around for clues in the wealthy Long Island beach community where people are losing their heads—literally.

Randye Lordon is the author of the award-winning Sydney Sloane Mystery Series that explores family relationships vis-à-vis murder. Originally from Chicago, Randye moved to Manhattan where she graduated from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts. It was a logical jump from acting to writing.

Aside from her novels, Lordon's short stories have been published in mystery magazines, anthologies, newspapers, and recorded for a Canadian radio station. She resides now in East Hampton where she is an innkeeper and considers murder daily.

Other novels include Brotherly Love, Sister’s Keeper, Father Forgive Me, Mother May I, Say Uncle, East of Niece and Son of a Gun.
