Handwork 2026

Handwork2026
A Year-Long Celebration of the Handmade
Presented by Craft in America
WACH is thrilled to announce our participation in #Handwork2026, a year-long celebration of the art of the handmade presented by Craft in America! More than 250 arts organizations across the country will highlight the importance of American craft through exhibitions, events, and programs throughout 2026.
The art of craft in America has a long and storied history—and Handwork2026 shines a light on that legacy as well as the vibrancy of contemporary makers, letting the diversity of the handmade speak through artists often underrepresented in the art world.
At WACH, we’re proud to spotlight Judi Harvest, an exceptional glass artist, in our upcoming exhibition Something Red! (on view through January 2026), and to introduce textile artist Nicole A. Vanesse, the subject of our spring exhibition Goldi.
Stay tuned and follow #Handwork2026 to discover the many ways craft connects us across the nation!
