Robin du Plessis

Robin du Plessis is an artist based in New York. Her work examines how we organize, describe and make sense of our surroundings in a world consumed by environmental crisis. Du Plessis' work incorporates multiple formats, including CGI, collage, and traditional painting techniques to explore issues of environmental hierarchy, artifice and craft, and the impact of perception on how we interpret the boundaries between the natural and the artificial. Her work questions how humans will evolve in an era of transgressive technology and increasingly virtual interactions.
